The Kennett Symphony of Chester County’s second annual “Beat Beethoven” 5K race/1 Mile Walk will be held on July 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Radley Run Country Club (1100 Country Club Rd., West Chester).

The object of the race/walk is to finish the course before Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony finishes – approximately 32 minutes – and therefore “beat” Beethoven.  All ages and abilities of runners and walkers are welcome. Proceeds benefit the Kennett Symphony.

Registration opens at 5:30 p.m. The fee is $25 (pre-registration by July 14), and $30 thereafter and on the day of the race. Register online at www.runccrs.com or www.active.com.
