Elk Ridge School welcomes back agricultural singer-songwriter

For the second year in a row, singer-songwriter KJ Reimensnyder-Wagner visited Elk Ridge Elementary School for a special "Ag Day with KJ" prior to the end of the school year. KJ has recorded many CDs and travels across the country, visiting schools and other organizations, to sing about the importance of agriculture in society and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Ag Day coordinator Laura James uses many KJ songs in her first-grade classroom, and last year invited her to come to Elk Ridge to sing for the first and second graders. KJ is pictured with James and second graders Sophia Schaefer, left, and Zoe Verbanas, who were part of team of students who wrote an original song in honor of KJ.
