Letter to the Editor:

I want to thank the nearly 1,622 Democratic voters across both Chester and Lancaster counties for making me our party's nominee for the 13th District State House seat.  Thanks, also, to my Republican neighbors for casting write-in votes on my behalf.

With this first victory in hand, I look forward to a strong debate on the issues confronting our community. The choice in this election is clear: real change and independent leadership or more of the same and continued allegiance to special-interest politics.  

Thank you again for your confidence and support in the primary election, and for the chance to provide voters a true contrast in November.
