BURGLARY NETS $10

The Kyoto Restaurant, at 120 Onix Drive in East Marlborough Township, was broken into just before 2 a.m. on Dec. 16, and the office was ransacked. According to Pennsylvania State Police Avondale, only $10 in cash was stolen from the office.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

Police arrested Michael Meyers, 53, on Dec. 4 after receiving a 911 hang-up call from a home in the 100 block of Ronway Drive. Police found his wife in her car in front of the house. She was bleeding from cuts she said she received when her husband broke the home's glass storm door. Police found Meyers inside the house and arrested him for simple assault and harassment. He was arraigned and relased the next day on $5,000 unsecured bail. 

DRUG POSSESSION

Kennett Square police arrested Dylan Longo. 21, of West Chester, for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana on Nov. 29 in the 100 block of Waterworks Drive in Kennett Square. He was released pending a summons from District Court.

DRUG CHARGES AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

New Garden Police arrested Billy Eckel, 28, of Newark, Del., on Dec. 9 after seeing him driving erratically in the area of Wilkinson Drive and Watson Mill Road. After a traffic stop, Eckel was seen with suspected marijuana spilled in his lap. A check of the vechicle turned up more marijuana and a glass pipe. Eckel was charged with possession of marijuana and related offenses, and was released pending a court appearance. 

DUI

Kennett Square police arrested Arturo Salinas-Oseguera, 24, of Kennett Square, for DUI on Nov. 24 at 5:48 a.m. after a traffic stop in the 700 block of East Baltimore Pike. He was released pending a summons from District Court.

New Garden Police arrested Joseph Vanden, 59, of Newark, Del., on Dec. 7 after getting reports of a Dodge truck being driven erratically on northbound Newark Road. Police followed the vehicle and saw it drift into oncoming traffic. Vandan was stopped at Penn Green and Starr roads and was arrested for DUI. He was released pending a court appearance.

On Dec. 13, New Garden Police were conducting a stationary patrol at Penn Green and Starr roads when a vehicle spun its wheels and accelerated through the intersection. Police pursued the vehicle and saw it cross the double yellow lines when it made a wide turn onto Gap Newport Pike. After a traffic stop, Sergio Davalos-Davalos, 30, of Oxford, was arrested for DUI and released pending a court appearance.

New Garden Police arrested Andrew Diemedio, 20, of Lincoln University, on Dec. 15 after a car he was driving west in the eastbound lanes of West Cypress Street almost hit a patrol car. He was taken into custody for DUI and released pending a court appearance.
