The Oxford Area Education Association (OAEA) recently celebrated American Education Week by donating funds to the Oxford Public Library. The donation was a way to show appreciative for the support the library offers to the Oxford learning community. The educators who comprise the OAEA will see the value of the donation firsthand as the library provides valuable resources to patrons.
Library director Carey Bresler said, “Libraries have experienced funding cuts. This money will be used for the 2014 summer reading program.”
