Kennett Square slates holiday events

Dec. 6: Winter Outdoor Farmers Market from 2 to 4 p.m., on State Street at the brick walkway;
Dec. 6: First Friday Art Stroll from 6 to 9 p.m.;
Dec. 7: The Kennett Symphony presents “Spirit of the Season” holiday concert at Kennett High School at 8 p.m.;
Dec. 7: Longwood Performing Arts “Holiday Magic” dance performance at 2 p.m. at Unionville High School;
Dec. 8: Horse-drawn carriage rides through Kennett Square from noon to 3 p.m. Riders can board at State and Union streets. The cost is $5 per person;
Dec. 8: Annual Candlelight Holiday Home Tour, a self-guided tour from 4 to 7 p.m.;
Dec. 12: Men's Shopping Night downtown, with special offers and sale prices;
Dec. 14: Winter Outdoor Farmers Market from 2 to 4 p.m., on State Street at the brick walkway;
Dec. 15: Breakfast with Santa at the Kennett Fire Company from 8 to 11 a.m.;
Dec. 15: Horse-drawn carriage rides through Kennett Square from noon to 3 p.m. Riders can board at State and Union streets. The cost is $5 per person;
Dec. 16 to 24: Free three-hour parking at all metered spaces downtown;
Dec. 22: Horse-drawn carriage rides through Kennett Square from noon to 3 p.m. Riders can board at State and Union streets. The cost is $5 per person;
Dec. 31: Midnight on the Square, the first annual New Year's Eve celebration from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., with a lighted mushroom to be lowered at midnight.
