Letter to the Editor:

I am writing in reference to a letter in your paper from Mr. Joe Duffy. He is very critical about Kennett Township not spending money. The township is in good financial shape because we have been fortunate to have had responsible supervisors and an office manager through many years. We need to have our money in place for major programs and unexpected problems.

The township has also been generous in supporting our local fire companies!

As far as promoting commercial and industrial development in our area, what about all the shops along Route 1 and down Route 52 to Mendenhall?

Mr. Duffy states in his letter that Mr. Leff and Mr. Stevens both have the same views how to make a real change. Does he mean they plan on spending all the township's money?

Let's hope not! Think about it.
