Golf tournament benefits the Lighthouse Youth Center

The Lighthouse Youth Center is holding its 23rd annual benefit golf tournament on Friday, Aug. 9 at the Tanglewood Golf Club in Quarryville, Pa. The golf tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. and end with a fried chicken dinner. Prizes will be awarded during the dinner. All proceeds from the event supports programs that help youngsters in the Oxford community. The Lighthouse Youth Center offers craft programs, cooking classes, camp trips, weekly Bible studies, and a month trip for the youngsters. On Monday through Friday, the children and teens have the opportunity to spend time with friends in the Lighthouse's activity room.
