Hopewell Elementary School recently held its annual Arts Appreciation Night, paying tribute to all of the artwork created by the fifth and sixth graders during the school year. The evening also featured demonstrations of wheat-weaving by Honey Brook-based artist Linda Beiler, who conducted a two-week teaching residency at the school in March.
Oxford Area School District Superintendent Dr. Raymond Fischer admired the wheat-weaving made by sixth grader Liam Smith, pictured with mom Jennifer and sisters Madeline, a third grader at Nottingham Elementary School, and Yasmin, a Jordan Bank School kindergartner.
