Ilgenfritz signs letter of intent with Towson University

Avon Grove High School senior Bethann Lee Ilgenfritz (seated, center) will run track next year for Division I Towson University in Towson, Md.
Bethann will run cross-country and distance track for the Tigers in the Colonial Conference. She was co-captain of the cross country team for two years, a state qualifier in the 4-by-800 relay, a district qualifier in the 800, and a member of Avon Grove's 2013 Ches-Mont League Champion Track and Field Team. Bethann was also awarded the Coach's Award in cross-country and the senior spirit award this year.
Parents, coaches, school administrators and friends attended a scholarship signing ceremony for her recently at the high school.
