Be sure to check out the Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church Community Festival on Saturday, October 8th from noon to 4 PM. It promises plenty of free fun for individuals and families, including live music, free food and beverages, entertainment and exhibit items. The Church, which has served the Lower Brandywine region for nearly three centuries, is hosting the Festival to benefit the community at large, as well as members of its congregation. The 2016 Community Festival features: • FREE FOOD including chili, hot dogs, popcorn, apples, cider and cotton candy. • LIVE MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT to be provided by Calabrese Consort, as well as a juke box. • INFLATABLE BOUNCE CASTLE, along with Basketball Hoop, Football Throw and Tee Ball. • A COLLECTION OF ANTIQUE CARS • CHILDREN’S ENTERTAINER & GAMES featuring entertainer Joyful Faces, as well as assorted games. • A FIRE TRUCK from the Talleyville Fire Department.
