Rosemont College is honored to host Dr. Christian Krokus of the University of Scranton to deliver a special lecture entitled “Christ as Mercy: Insights from Islam.” The event will focus on how mercy is understood in the Islamic tradition, and how this perspective can enrich Catholic reflection as the Church prepares to conclude the Jubilee Year of Mercy. The lecture has been made possible by the Ghaznavi Fund for the Promotion & Study of the Interconnectiveness of Islamic and Western Civilizations at Rosemont College. A reception will follow the event.
