Stella Blu To Host Summer Pasta Special
New Study Finds Pasta Is Good For You
Rigatoni lovers rejoice! Despite years of being told that pasta can wreak havoc on our diets, a July 5 report issued by Italian researchers at the IRCCS Neuromed Institute, just debunked that centuries old myth. In fact, after studying the diets of 23,000 people, they found that pasta is actually linked to a decrease in body mass index — and that's not the only benefit. It also contributes to a healthier body mass index, lower waist circumference and better waist-hip ratio. Now that’s something to celebrate!
In honor of these new findings, Stella Blu (101 Ford Street) is offering a pasta special this summer Monday through Wednesday nights with eight signature dishes for just $9-$15. The menu includes:
Spaghetti
Crab meat, fra diavolo sauce $15
Bucatini
