Toy Trains Hit the Rails
Evenings at the Museum
The “electric train” group will present a history of toy trains, starting with 19th-century floor trains and progressing to mechanical and electric track trains. We’ll have displays of trains from early short-lived manufacturers as well as the “Big Three”: Lionel, Ives and American Flyer. Guests will have a chance to “take the controls” of the museum’s Lionel standard-gauge layout.
