Owl and Raptor Fest
Join us for an afternoon of having fun learning about owls and other raptors. This program is for families, children, and adults, with multiple sessions happening at once. See a presentation of local raptors to learn about identification, featuring photos from DNS staff. Participate in a children's owl calling contest, examine lots of study skins and taxidermy of local raptors, dissect an owl pellet, hear "How the Owl Got Big Eyes" from a professional storyteller, and check out our raptor art show and sale. Owl themed snacks and beverages will be provided.
