Performances

The Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Chester County will present their annual show "Trial By Jury” on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 8 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. in Courtroom One of the Historic Chester County Courthouse, 2 N. High St., West Chester, PA. Entrance is on Market St. Synopsis: Edwin has jilted Angelina and now she's taken him to court for breach of promise, a now-forgotten proceeding where a man could be sued for withdrawing a promise of marriage. In this trial, the defendant is a roguish playboy, the lovely plaintiff flirts shamelessly with the all-male jury, and confusion reigns until the judge renders a verdict that all can readily accept. Come see this sparkling musical comedy followed by a carol sing. Begin the holiday season with this joyous farce about love and marriage! MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!
