ComForCare Home Care of Exton will host free workshops imparting best practices for caring for those with dementia on November 17. The workshops will be held at Immaculata University: Loyola Hall Room 127 located at 1145 King Road, Immaculata, Pa. The workshops are part of ComForCare’s DementiaWise program, a nationwide program designed to enhance the lives of those living with dementia. ComForCare will host two workshops, one for healthcare professionals and one for family caregivers. Designed for RNs and LSWs, who can earn three continuing education units, the first seminar begins with registration at 8 a.m and will run from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. The second seminar is aimed at family caregivers and begins with registration at 3 p.m. The workshop runs from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Those interested in attending can register at Dementiawise.com or by calling 610-363-1485.
