Steamin' Day at Auburn Heights

Spotlight on Water Wonders

Enjoy the height of summer at the Marshall Steam Museum and cool down by exploring the theme of Water Wonders. Water has an important history at Auburn Heights, such as the creek and mills that helped develop the Yorklyn area and the steam powered cars and trains on the property that delight visitors. This special Steamin’ Day will include activities that help visitors explore this theme of water. These water-themed activities will be in addition to all of the regular Steamin’ Day activities that let our visitors to imagine what life was like when the car was in its infancy through special demonstrations, rides in historic automobiles such as the 1915 steam-powered Stanley Mountain Wagon, train rides, the museum and more. Enjoy the beautiful grounds of the Auburn Heights Estate during this great day for the whole family.
