Please join us for the 14th annual Inspirational Breakfast and Day of Service to revitalize Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream of peace and harmony among all people in our community. Keynote speaker: Dr. Marjorie G. Adams, professor, Morgan State University, Baltimore. Music by the CommUNITY Choir. Please bring non-perishable food items for donation to the Kennett Food Cupboard. Following the breakfast, dialogue with the speaker at 10:30 a.m. at the Kennett Inn; volunteer for the day of sharing at various events between 9 a.m. and noon, and noon - 3 p.m. ([email protected] for more information); and community celebration at the Kennett Food Cupboard (help unload the truck of non-perishable donated food) at 6 p.m. Meter parking is free throughout the borough due to the holiday.
