Join us at the Mill for the 150th Anniversary of the 1864 recruitment drive of Company K of the 98th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment here in Chester County, a veteran fighting regiment of the Civil War. Programs will include: • Recruitment program • Life of the Civil War soldier • Camp life of the Civil War soldier • Food of the Civil War soldier • Drill & Manual Arms of the Civil War soldier – enlist and learn how to drill just like a soldier! • Musket firing demonstrations • Music of the Civil War (Bugle calls and drum & fife calls) Programs will run on the half-hour beginning at 10:00am and continue until 4:00pm.
