The West Chester Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale on May 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Landhope Farms store in Willowdale (at routes 82 and 926). There will be a variety of native perennials and annuals for both shade and sun, as well plants suitable for either dry or damp soil conditions. An assortment of handmade garden troughs will be available, along with used items such as pots, gardening books, and tools. Proceeds benefit area beautification, including the native plant bed at the Brandywine Valley Association, a cloistered visiting garden at Chester County Hospital, and a newly proposed rain garden in East Goshen Township.
