Inland Valley Hope Partners operates the Farmers’ Market, held weekly on Saturday mornings, on the corner of Garey Avenue and Pearl Street in Pomona. As one of the longest running markets in Los Angeles County, the Pomona Certified Farmers’ Market brings together family farmers, social service agencies and food vendors from throughout the Pomona-Inland Valley area to provide the community with fresh produce at reasonable prices. The Farmers’ Market operates under the belief that access to fresh, nutritional food helps individuals avoid illness and disease associated with poor nutrition, and therefore accepts CalFresh and WIC coupons in addition to cash. The Farmers' Market promotes nutrition education, wholesome eating habits, and better food preparation. Consumers may learn how to prepare the produce from the farmers.
