Family Program: Art in the Ark- Reptile Study (Ages 9 and older, plus parents)
Spend the morning as a family studying the artistic essence of reptiles with professional art teacher Deanna Peacock! This workshop is appropriate for artists interested in capturing the textures and forms of some s-s-s-splendidly scaly species. Animal artifacts, such as skins, sheds, skulls and skeletons, as well as live animals will inspire artists both young and old! Students should provide their own art materials, such as a sketch book and pencils, charcoal, chalk, colored pencils, etc.
Fee: $20 per person, $15 for DZS members. A minimum of 5 participants is required to hold this program. Fee includes zoo admission. Preregistration is required by June 12th for this program, as we have a limited number of spaces available.
