ARTZ-CONNECT AT BRANDYWINE

This popular program, which welcomes a small group of visitors with dementia and their care partners to view and discuss art in a supportive setting, is moving online.

ARTZ Philadelphia and the Brandywine recognize that even though these closures and program cancellations are necessary, that they will cause an increase in isolation and a decrease in creative and social engagement for people living with dementia and their care partners.

During ARTZ-Connect at Brandywine, a group of 6–8 people living with dementia and their care partners will view and discuss two to three works of art from the Brandywine's collection under the guidance of a warm, welcoming and highly trained facilitator. Through sharing ideas or simply listening to others, participants will have a meaningful, invigorating and joyful encounter.

Participation is free with advance registration, but we ask that you register as early as possible. We keep our programs small and intimate in scale so that everyone feels comfortable and at ease.

Registrations are first-come, first-served.
