Cancelled: Newlin Grist Mill’s Harvest Festival
Food Traditions Past and Present
Historic Demonstrations: 10am-4pm, Food Festival: 11am-7pm
A local favorite, this event provides fun for the whole family with demonstrations, family activities, shopping, and food!
Tradespeople and artisans will demonstrate a variety of 18th-century skills. Family-friendly activities include puppet shows, musicians, hayrides, pumpkin painting, and colonial games. Visitors can shop in the Colonial Market for unique, handcrafted items, and food. This year’s festival will focus on food with demonstrations of cooking techniques, a variety of historic foods, and the trades that made it possible to put food on the colonial table. New this year will be local food and beverage artisans who continue to reflect these traditions, and the area’s top chefs will compete in food challenges. This year’s event is co-sponsored by Visit Delco.
