Sculpted from an oak tree right in the heart of the family farm, the “Legacy Tree” is dedicated to all the men and women who have made Linvilla Orchards possible. The story of Linvilla Orchards is rich in family history spanning five generations and is centered around the family's love of agriculture, the land and nature. The acorn that has grown into this mighty oak was planted by a young Paul Linvill and has been nurtured by him much in the same way he nurtured the farm, known now as Linvilla Orchards. For this very special project Linvilla commissioned award-winning artist and sculpture Don Lowing (www.donlowing.com).
