The Elder Futhark has a lot to teach us to help us navigate life in the 21st century. The runes were the dominant spiritual system used throughout Europe before the rise of Christianity. If your ancestors came from Europe, the runes are your heritage. The third rune, Thurisaz, deals with breaking through barriers and obstacles -- and also defense and protection. Ansuz is the messenger rune, and asks us to look for the unexpected inspiration that comes to help us on our spiritual journey. We will look at cryptic rune poem source material and the traditional interpretation of these two runes. Attendees will also learn techniques to connect to these energies. The session will end with a guided meditation as Tibetian Singing bowl master Matthew Armand channels the frequencies of Thurisaz and Ansuz.
