Making Botanical Inks

For centuries, plant parts such as fruit, leaves, and bark were used in making inks for writing, painting, and dying yarn and fabrics. Using simple recipes and a few specialty items, craft some colorful inks from a variety of native plants. Leave with a sample of ink to use at home for drawing or composing letters to friends. All materials are included in the registration fee.
