The Brinton 1704 House is unique because it is one of the oldest and best restored houses in the United States. The 1704 House was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1968.

We welcome you and hope you visit us at the Brinton 1704 House. Built in 1704, the House is a restored Quaker home located in Delaware County near West Chester, Pennsylvania. The town of West Chester is about thirty-five miles southwest of Philadelphia, PA. We recommend you contact us ahead of your planned tour. Hours House Is Available For Tours The House is open for tours Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, May 1st through October 31st. Other times are available by appointment. The House is closed on some holidays. So please call ahead at 610-399-0913. Admission Admission is $5.00 per adult and $3.00 per child ages 4 to 12.
