Michael D. Huggins, author of “Going Om – A CEO’s Journey from a Prison Facility to Spiritual Tranquility”

Uptown! Entertainment Alliance welcomes Mike Huggins to kick off the Uptown! Speaker Series at the new Knauer Performing Arts Center (formerly the National Guard Armory) in West Chester on Tuesday, February 21. Mike Huggins shares the cautionary tale and inspirational story of his journey from CEO of one of the largest corporations in Chester County to prison inmate, and how he drew on yoga and mindfulness to rebound and inspire thousands to discover their authentic selves. Mike went on to found the Transformation Yoga Project, a renowned non-profit that focuses on teaching yoga and its capacity to “heal through empowerment.” Join him for the national launch of Going Om – A CEO’s Journey from a Prison Facility to Spiritual Tranquility. Learn how to recognize when it is time for change, that where you are doesn’t define who you are, and how to lean into its discomfort by incorporating mindfulness and the practical application of yoga in everyday life. Ideal for anyone who is ready to live life to its fullest., Doors opens at 5:30pm with the speaker beginning at 6:30pm.
