The Downingtown Rock Gym (formerly Vertical Extreme) is a community based indoor rock climbing gym in Chester County outside of Philadelphia. Offering over 10,000 square feet of indoor rock climbing surface, including overhangs, boulders, aretes, chimneys, caves, cracks and lead walls, the facility is suitable for rock climbers of all ages and abilities. Beginner rock climbing lessons, advanced rock climbing lessons, outdoor rock climbing and lead climbing lessons are offered with group rates available.
