Behind nearly 400 yards of offense, Head Coach Pat Clark's Unionville Indians beat Great Valley 41-14 last Friday night, en route to giving the team a 6-0 division  record, a 9-1 overall record and its third consecutive Ches-Mont League American Division title. The win qualified Unionville to host Glen Mills in the opening round of the District 1 Class 5A playoffs on Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.
Unionville touched the scoreboard twice in the first quarter, when quarterback Joe Zubillaga scored on a 19-yard touchdown, following an 80-yard march up the field. His teammate Dante Graham then scored the game's second TD on a six-yard run, following an offensive possession that amassed 90 yards.
The Indians then jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the third quarter, which was followed by a 79-yard kick-off touchdown return by Great Valley's Owen Banavich. The Indians then extended their lead to 34-7 on a 67-yard drive that ended with a three-yard TD scamper by Graham.
Great Valley fell to 5-1 in the Ches-Mont divisional play, and 6-4 overall.
