Spring has arrived, and so has a special crop of Critters at the Brandywine River Museum of Art.

Critters are whimsical ornaments and decorations that are crafted by hand, using natural materials. They are available through April 25. Using their imaginations, museum volunteers use raw materials such as pine cones, acorns, flowers, and seed pods, to create hundreds of ducks, rabbits, birds, frogs, flowers, squirrels and more, each with a distinct personality.

Critters range from $10 to $25. They are available in the Museum Shop, which is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Volunteers’ Art Purchase Fund, and Art Education and Programming.

The museum is located on Route 1 in Chadds Ford. For more information, call 610-388-2700 or visit brandywinemuseum.org.
