Two arrested for thefts from Oxford Masonic Lodge

Pennsylvania State Police Avondale
announced on May 7 that they have arrested two people in the theft of
$22,545.35 from the Oxford Masonic Lodge.
Police said that David Marvin Haas, 60, and Belinda Lee Haas, 43, both of Delta, Pa., stole the money through theft, forgery and access device fraud between July 28 and Dec. 1, 2014. David Haas was the lodge's treasurer during that time. The money was stolen through ATM withdrawals and forged checks, police said.
Both suspects were arraigned on May 6. Bail was set at 10 percent of $25,000. Both were taken to Chester County Prison to await a preliminary hearing.
