On April 11 at 5:50 a.m., Kennett Square Police responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Gas 'n' Go store at 700 W. Cypress St.

Two men wearing all-black clothing, both armed with handguns, entered the store and took an undetermined amount of cash. The suspects also stole an employee’s cell phone and fled on foot.

Both men were wearing masks, and were estimated to be in their mid-20s to late 20s. One was light skinned, about 5-foot-10, with a medium build. The second was slightly shorter and smaller. One of the men had a piercing above his left eye. Both suspects spoke Spanish.

The victim's cell phone was later recovered in Hockessin, Del., where it was laying on the road.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Kennett Square Police at 610-268-3171. Police were assisted at the scene of the robbery by the New Garden Township Police. The New Castle County Police assisted the Kennett Square Police in Hockessin, where the phone was found.
