Saturday concert to raise funds for cancer research

03/20/2015 12:39PM ● By J. Chambless
The Eighth Annual Jonathan Beech Memorial Concert will take place on March 21 at 2 p.m. in the Kennett High School Auditorium (100 E. South St., Kennett Square).
The beneficiary of this year’s event is the Neuro-Oncology Division of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

The concert, named in memory of Jonathan Beech, who died as the result of a brain tumor in 2007,  is hoping to raise $10,000 for CHOP as it has for other organizations in past years.
Anyone who cannot attend the concert, but would like to contribute to the cause, can mail contribution checks to Jonathan’s parents, Marty and Donna Beech, at 474 Greenwood Road, Kennett Square, PA  19348.  Make your check payable to Jonathan Beech Memorial Concert, Inc.
Marty Beech taught strings and directed the Kennett High School Orchestra for 39 years and is now retired.

Tickets will be available at the door.  Suggested contribution is $20 for adults and $10 for students, but any contribution is welcome. Contributions are tax-deductible. For more information, visit JonathanBeechMemorialConcert.org.
