Chester County PRESS Jan. 14, 2015 Edition

01/14/2015 10:06AM ● By Kevin

In our Jan. 14 edition, the Chester County PRESS opens the door to local schools, where we introduce you to new budgets, new contracts, ground-breaking new programs and fascinating people. We cover the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District, which recently gave approval to a proposed preliminary budget for 2015, while its teachers gave high marks to a new online learning management pilot program that's currently being tested. We give details about the Kennett Consolidated School District's approval that extends the contract of its current supervisor, Dr. Barry Tomasetti. We introduce you to former Avon Grove School District teacher and current author Dianne Salerni, who just published her second book in a series of fantasy tales. High school sports, the local music scene, new services and new appointments; they're all here this week in the Chester County PRESS!
