OXFORD AREA HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES AND SENIORS NAMED AP SCHOLARS

Fourteen members of the Oxford Area High School Class of 2014 and seven current seniors recently earned 2013-2014 AP Scholar awards from the College Board, which administers the AP Exams. These students have demonstrated college-level achievement through AP courses and exams.

Earning AP Scholar designation, granted to students who achieve scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams, were 2014 graduates Sarah Brandt, Megan Jansen, Lauren Keeler, Elizabeth Kim, Steven Miles, David Smith, Michael Taylor and Jessica Towey and current seniors Elise Gunzel, Kinsey Hartert, Haley Miller and Karry Nusbaum.

Earning AP Scholar with Honor, granted to students who achieve an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams, were 2014 graduates Tanner Smith and Mary Williams and current seniors Joshua Stillman and Thomas Sumner.

Earning AP Scholar with Distinction, granted to students who achieve an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams, were 2014 graduates Sarah Graff, Hannah Litwa, Erin Reph and Brianne Roper and current senior Alex Coleman, who earned AP Scholar with Distinction for the second straight year.
