Rose Valley Chorus announces season

The Rose Valley Chorus & Orchestra, in its 108th year, has announced its new season at the Strath Haven Middle School in Wallingford, Pa.

The Gilbert and Sullivan operetta “Gondoliers” will be performed on Nov. 8 at 2 and 8 p.m., Nov. 9 at 2 p.m., Nov. 12 at 8 p.m., Nov. 15 at 2 and 8 p.m., and Nov. 16 at 2 p.m.

Cole Porter’s “Kiss Me Kate” will be the group’s spring offering, with performances scheduled from April 10 to 18, 2015.

Strath Haven Middle School is at 200 S. Providence Rd. (Route 252) in Wallingford, Delaware County.

Tickets, available at the door for all performances, are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors and students, and $7 for children 12 and younger.  Adult and Senior tickets bought in advance are discounted $3 and can be obtained by sending an order, check, and a stamped self-addressed envelope to:  Rose Valley Chorus & Orchestra, PO Box 414, Media, PA 19063.  A map to the theater will be enclosed with the tickets. Tickets are good for any performance of each show and seating is general admission. 

A special production of “Nunsense II: The Second Coming” will be presented in June 2015 at Stage One (101 Plush Mill Rd, Wallingford). The Rose Valley Chorus & Orchestra has partnered with the Community Action Agency of Delaware County to support their “Save Our Shelters” program which provides housing and services to people in crisis.
