On September 13 the Oxford Educational Foundation (OEF) celebrated its 20th anniversary with a special community luncheon at Penn's Grove Middle School. Highlights of the event included citations from Chester County Commissioner Terence Farrell and State Senator Andrew Dinniman, the introduction of the OEF's new Leaving a Legacy Program and the announcement of the OEF's first Emeritus members of the Board of Directors.

OEF is a community organization whose sole purpose is to enhance the quality of education for students attending schools in the Oxford Area School District. This includes providing funding for professional grants that cover things outside the school district budget. In the last 13 years over $128,000 in materials and training have been awarded to district teachers and administrators.
