The Chester County Senior Center Collaborative has developed “Live, Learn, Grow,” a series of workshops geared to Baby Boomers, starting in September.

The workshops will be available at all six of the Chester County senior centers; Coatesville Area Senior Center, Downingtown Area Senior Center, Kennett Square Senior Center, Oxford Senior Center, Phoenixville Area Senior Center and West Chester Area Senior Center.

This program is funded through a grant from Gov. Tom Corbett and the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. The workshops will be held in the evenings and some weekends. Topics include healthy cooking classes, financial advice, technology, DIY home improvement, retirement, art and cinema, astrology and more.

To get a newsletter and flyers on upcoming workshops, contact Coleen Gill, program coordinator, at 610-383-6900, or e-mail coleenlivelearngrow@gmail.com.
