Kiwanis Club forming in Kennett Square

An informational meeting to discuss the chartering of a Kiwanis Club for Kennett Square will take place on Monday, Sept. 15 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Cafe Meeting Room of South Mill Mushroom Sales, located at 649 West South Street in Kennett Square. 

This meeting is for anyone who is interested in learning more about the objectives of Kiwanis International and the positive impact we can bring to our community.  Applications to join will also be available at the meeting.

For anyone who wants to pick up information prior to this meeting, a representative will be volunteering at the "Cute as a Button" booth at the Mushroom Festival all day on Saturday, Sept. 6. A representative will also be attending the next Bridging the Community meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. at The Kennett Area Senior Center to share the Kiwanis Club's plans of becoming a strong contributor to the network of local of service organizations.
