Letter to the Editor:

I am pleased to join many of my neighbors--Democrats, Republicans, and independents alike--in endorsing Ann Schott for 13th District State Representative.  I have been fortunate to know Ann and her family for over 20 years, and I appreciate the extraordinary contributions she has made to our community.

Ann's experience as a public school teacher is an especially notable factor in this race.  Pennsylvania’s public schools are hurting: the current governor has implemented deep cuts that have led to fewer programs for students and higher taxes for homeowners.  We can’t afford another two years of promises and empty rhetoric.  If given the chance to represent us in the State House, Ann will speak truth to power, move decisively, and work tirelessly to reform a broken education funding system and finally deliver property tax relief.
