Charles Burchfield

The Brandywine River Museum (Route 1, Chadds Ford) will present "Exalted Nature: The Real and Fantastic World of Charles Burchfield" through Nov. 16. Station Gallery 35th anniversary

The Station Gallery (3922 Kennett Pike, Greenville, Del.) celebrates 35 years with an anniversary show featuring works by 59 artists who have exhibited with the gallery over the years. Art classes with Karl Kuerner

The Brandywine River Museum (Route 1, Chadds Ford) offers art classes with Karl J. Kuerner on Tuesdays from Sept. 23 to Nov. 11 (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.), and Saturdays from Sept. 27 to Nov. 15 (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.). The Chadds Ford artist will teach classes at the Kuerner Farm, site of many of Andrew Wyeth's best-known works. The first class will meet at the museum before going to the farm site.
