Area residents can support the cause of conservation on Sept. 13 at The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County’s Hootenanny Hoedown & Wild West Saloon at The Ruins on The Pennsylvania Hunt Cup Course.

The third annual event, presented by Dansko, invites participants to dress as your favorite western character, or don your denim and boots to celebrate.  The saloon doors swing open at 5:30 p.m., and tickets include music by DJ Frosty, food, and local beers and wines.  There will also be a silent auction.

Tickets can be purchased at the Cowboy Level for $75, or $150 as a Rhinestone Benefactor.  To purchase Wild West Saloon tickets, or find out more information call 610-347-0347, ext. 103, or visit www.tlcforscc.org.

Proceeds from the event benefit The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County, a non-profit conservation organization whose mission is to ensure the preservation and stewardship of open space, natural resources, historic sites, and working agricultural lands throughout Southern Chester County.
