Last week, the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry announced their endorsement of Joe Pitts for the 16^th Congressional District of Pennsylvania seat.

The seat, which Pitts currently holds, encompasses the 16th Congressional District and includes southern Chester County, Lancaster County and a portion of southwest Berks County.

After a review process, interviews with candidates and/or research on business issues and positions of the various candidates, the Chester County board of directors met at their June meeting to make a final consideration for endorsement, and they unanimously chose Pitts.

CCCBI president & CEO Guy Ciarrocchi said, “Congressman Pitts often says that he goes down to Washington to bring our values to the government, and to stop the government from imposing its values on us. Congressman Pitts fights for his people, he is the voice for the people who aren’t being heard.”

Joe Pitts is running in the general election on Nov. 4.
