Wyeth book signing

The Brandywine River Museum of Art (Route 1, Chadds Ford) will host a lecture and book signing in conjunction with The National Gallery of Art's exhibition, "Andrew Wyeth: Looking Out, Looking In." Exhibition curators and catalogue authors Nancy K. Anderson and Charles Brock will present a new approach to Wyeth's work, as they investigate the artist's fascination with windows and consider his own statement that he was an "abstract artist." The museum and galleries open at 5:30 p.m.; the presentation begins at 6 p.m., with a book signing and reception following. The exhibition catalogue is available in the museum shop. Admission is $20. Call 610-388-8326 or visit www.brandywinemuseum.org.
