The new club house at Mocassin Run Golf Club.

One local family with decades of history on their farmland in Atglen is proud to announce the latest addition to the Mocassin Run Golf Club. Twenty-six years ago, the King family decided to convert the rolling hills of their farming property into an 18-hole golf course. They have has now completed the newest addition to their facility, a 725-square-foot renovation to the club house. Now, the course known for its beautiful landscapes and impeccable conditions, has a handsomely renovated clubhouse to match.

The renovations on the clubhouse not only include a face-lift to the existing structure, but expanded offerings at Moccasin Run now include a new conference room which accommodates groups and parties of up to 50 guests, an expanded dining room, as well as improved amenities throughout the building.

“The new meeting room is a much-needed facility in our region of Southeast Pennsylvania,” said  co-owner Curt King. “Businesses, families and organizations get tired of holding meetings and parties in the same locations.  They’re looking for a change of scenery in a setting where they know everything will be taken care of.  And if they’d like to add golf to their get-together, now they have that option too.”

The new meeting room offers amenities such as high speed wireless Internet, television, teleconferencing and catering package options.

“We’re thrilled with how everything in the new clubhouse has turned out so far, and we can’t wait to see the looks on the faces of all of our golfers, especially those who have been coming to the course for decades,” said Grace King, co-owner.  “I just love the dining room.  Golfers now have a place to relax, get a great meal, and enjoy even more of the day with friends.”

Moccasin Run Golf Club continues to offer their popular Men’s, Ladies’, Couples and Junior Golf Leagues each year, as well as a number of tournaments open to the public. The Kings see the renovations to the clubhouse as a way to give back to their many patrons and improve the overall experience at the club, whether it be at an outing, a company meeting or simply during lunch.

Moccasin Run will proudly hold its official grand opening this weekend, July 18, 19, and 20.  During the grand opening celebration, they are featuring special bonuses with a paid 18-hole round that include a $4 food voucher to use at the brand new Sandwedge Grill, a free bucket of range balls and an entry for a drawing for valuable prizes every day.  Visit www.moccasinrun.com for rates, tee times, menus and information about the facility.
