The Chester County Pops Orchestra will be performing three concerts in July. Performances will take place at: 

Oxford Area High School (705 Waterway Rd., Oxford) on July 19 at 7 p.m.;

Phoenixville Area Middle School (386 City Line Ave., Phoenixville) on July 20 at 3 p.m.;

Fugett Middle School (500 Ellis Ln., West Chester) on July 22 at 7 p.m.

The new program, “Dancing with the Pops,” features dance music from around the world. Joined by dancers from McDade-Cara School of Irish Dance and the Oxford Center for Dance, music director Joseph Gehring will conduct the orchestra in dance music from “West Side Story” and more.

Sixty-five instrumentalists are brought together for every concert. Since its founding in 2005, the Orchestra has performed nearly 50 concerts at more than 20 venues.

Ticket sales benefit the Oxford Area Senior Center, the Phoenixville Area Public Library and the Chester County Historical Society. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 62 and older, and free for children and students. Tickets are available online and at the door.
