Oxford Library to hold gardening program for kids
07/02/2014 04:00PM ● By AclThe Oxford Public Library has received an E. Kneale Dockstader Foundation grant for $2,300. This grant will fund the Literature in the Garden program.
The program is developed by the Junior Master Gardeners to promote literacy through a curriculum that includes six garden and ecology-themed children’s books, creative expression and hands-on outdoor activities.
This class will meet at the Oxford Public Library Gardens on Tuesdays, July 8 through Aug. 19 from 1 to 3 p.m. The class will be taught by Chester County Master Gardeners.
